Reviews: The Variety critic could find nothing good to say about this "oats opera."  "Strictly a program picture for secondary spots, with production, mounting, and music of minor dimensions."

Judging from the reviews it appears that the story only vaguely resembles Wright's novel.  Arlen plays an inexperienced salesman who heads west to find buried treasure in the Mine With The Iron Door.  An old and mean villain knows where the mine is and attempts to keep Arlen from finding it.  As Arlen gets close to the mine he also falls in love with a beautiful young woman who is also dear to the heart of the older villain.  It is unclear from the reviews what the relationship is between the woman and the villain, perhaps she is his daughter.  Neither review gives a clue how the dilemna is resolved.
